11:57 – Three Minutes to Midnight Now in Production

With the threat of a nuclear Armageddon and the looming catastrophic consequences of climate change, the Doomsday Clock is now at three minutes to midnight. But, given the provocative and dangerous events in recent days by the U.S. against N. Korea, China, Russia, and Syria, as well as the unbelievable refugee problem, I think the Doomsday Clock might more realistically be at 1 Minute to Midnight.

The encouraging thing is people all over the world rising up against Capitalism and their governments that do not represent them. We can see this in Japan with hundreds of thousands protesting the changing of their peace constitution. Hundreds of thousands from one end of Europe to the other. Many thousands more in every country are joining together to save the environment. In every corner of the globe, large numbers of people are rising and demanding change. It is my hope that this film will motivate thousands more to rise up and join the struggle to save humanity.

Some 90 people contributed over $10,000 to pay for the epic trip to the Pacific Islands in order to begin filming and interviewing activists for this new film. That barely covered expenses. I received no compensation for the hundreds of hours it took to complete The Ghosts of Jeju, and I will not receive any compensation for this project. But there are additional expenses yet to be incurred to do 4-5 interviews with experts in NYC and Washington, D.C., as well as research at the National Archives in College Park, MD. In order to do this, I will need your help.

Your contributions will be completely tax-deductible if you contribute on the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space website:
