The BIG Lie – America Is The Greatest Country In The World

America is the city on the hill, god’s favored people, the exceptional nation spreading freedom and Democracy around the world.

Keep repeating this for over 500 hundred years in schools, churches, media, parades, national holidays like the 4th of July and Thanksgiving, the pledge of allegiance to the flag, standing for the national anthem, before and during professional sporting events, and every president mouthing “and, god bless America,” and eventually everyone believes it.

The neural programming is hard-wired in our individual and collective brains and this prevents most Americans from seeing the obvious. America is none of the above.

The FACTS are that our ancestors, the white, colonial Europeans stole the land, its resources, and committed genocide for over 100 years before the Mayflower brought a couple hundred “religious refugees” from England to Plymouth in what is now Massachusetts. The stealing, plundering and genocide continued for another 400 years until the entire continent was conquered by the descendants of these savage European colonizers.

All of this was blessed by the Roman Catholic pope in Rome in what is known as the Doctrine of Discovery, wherein he decreed that the pagan savages could be murdered and their land and its resources could be taken. To this day, the Catholic Church has not condemned and revoked this position.

The U.S. doctrine of Manifest Destiny, a phrase coined in 1845, expressed the philosophy that drove 19th-century U.S. territorial expansion. Manifest Destiny held that the United States was destined—by God, its advocates believed—to expand its dominion and spread democracy and capitalism across the entire North American continent. Once that was achieved, this doctrine was expanded to the entire globe and explains U.S. foreign policy and military adventures around the world.

The most important story in America and the world today is not immigration, the Mueller investigation, Trump, Brexit, voter fraud, epic wild fires and floods, the Dems retaking the House, the Florida and Georgia elections, but what is happening to America and the world as a result of The Big Lie.

Leonard nailed it in his song, Everybody Knows…

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That’s how it goes
Everybody knows
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied…..
Truth be told, the U.S. economy is on the verge of collapse. The national debt is more than $21 Trillion and rising quickly. Since 9/11, the U.S. has spent more than $8 Trillion on the War on Terror in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, and billions more right here in our own country. (The NSA, Homeland Security, militarized law enforcement).
Looking abroad, America’s trail of tears has not only killed millions of innocent people since 1798, but destroyed dozens of ancient civilizations with over 500 military invasions, coups, color revolutions, and political assassinations….all interventions in the elections and affairs of hundreds of sovereign nations.
And now, because of this Big Lie, Americans are avoiding and denying the only two threats to life on the planet: nuclear war and climate change. In order to spread its dominion over the entire planet, America is now threatening war with Russia and China, two countries that are challenging America global domination economically and militarily.
The Big Lie prevents most Americans from seeing the truth about their country’s history and the perilous situation it has created for all life on the planet. Everybody else on the planet knows that “the boat is leaking and the captain lied.”
I’m afraid it is too late for Americans to cast off the lie, so meantime, be happy, keep shopping, keep being entertained and distracted, keep voting and hoping the good guys will win.
Perhaps we should heed the voices of the prophets:
Ecclesiastes 8:15, ‘Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry’, and Isaiah 22:13, ‘Let us eat and drink for to morrow we shall die.’
John Winthrop got it right….”…we shall be made a story and a byword through the world.”
